TERMS OF SERVICE

Blink Global Shipping

1. Agreement to Terms

By using Blink Global Shipping’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between Blink Global Shipping (“Blink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the customer (“you” or “your”).

By creating an account, shipping a package, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Blink Global Shipping provides international shipping, package forwarding, barrel forwarding, customs clearance assistance, and delivery or pickup services.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service when necessary.

Delivery and processing times provided by Blink are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs, carriers, weather, high shipment volumes, operational issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information for every shipment, including:

Full name and contact information
Correct shipping address
Customer identification or BLNK code where required
Accurate description of the contents
Accurate declared value
Invoice or proof of purchase when required
Correct weight and dimensions where applicable
Any documentation required for customs clearance

Customers are responsible for ensuring that packages are properly packaged and labeled before shipment.

Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in additional charges, delays, refusal of shipment, customs issues, or other action deemed necessary by Blink.

4. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers must not ship illegal substances, weapons, explosives, hazardous materials, restricted goods, counterfeit goods, or any other items prohibited by Jamaican, U.S., or applicable international laws and regulations.

Blink reserves the right to refuse, hold, return, or dispose of prohibited or restricted items where permitted by law.

Customers are responsible for any costs, penalties, fines, duties, or other charges resulting from prohibited, restricted, undeclared, or improperly declared items.

5. Shipping Fees and Payments

Shipping fees must be paid upon delivery unless otherwise agreed by Blink.

Additional charges may apply for customs duties, storage, redelivery, special handling, oversized or unusual shipments, or other services.

Shipping rates may vary based on the actual weight, dimensions, contents, destination, shipping method, or other applicable shipment details.

Blink reserves the right to update its rates and fees. Applicable charges will be communicated through our available customer channels.

6. Customs, Duties and Government Charges

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, government fees, permits, assessments, and other charges associated with their shipments.

Blink may assist with the customs clearance process but does not control decisions made by customs authorities.

Blink is not responsible for delays, inspections, seizures, detentions, additional assessments, or other actions taken by customs or government authorities.

Customers must provide accurate invoices, values, descriptions, and other information required for customs clearance.

7. Delivery and Collection

Customers are responsible for ensuring that Blink has the correct delivery and contact information.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on shipment volume, customs processing, transportation, weather, and other circumstances.

Once a package is available for delivery or collection, customers are responsible for collecting it within the applicable collection period.

Blink may charge additional fees for storage, redelivery, special handling, or other services where applicable.

8. Loss, Damage and Liability

Customers acknowledge that shipping involves certain risks.

Blink will take reasonable care in handling shipments. However, Blink is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, improper packaging, inadequate protection, fragile or inherently defective items, prohibited items, incorrect information provided by the customer, customs actions, carrier-related issues, or other exclusions applicable to the shipment.

Blink’s standard liability for an eligible lost or damaged package is limited to US$100 per package, subject to the applicable terms, exclusions, and claims requirements.

Where available, customers may be eligible to purchase additional coverage for shipments exceeding the standard US$100 amount. Additional coverage is subject to applicable fees, eligibility requirements, limits, exclusions, and confirmation by Blink.

Blink does not guarantee that the full declared value of a package will be covered unless additional coverage has been specifically accepted and paid for.

9. Insurance and Claims

Blink’s standard coverage is up to US$100 per eligible package.

Additional coverage may be available at an additional cost for eligible shipments. Availability, pricing, coverage limits, and exclusions may vary.

Customers who believe a package has been lost or damaged must notify Blink as soon as possible and provide the information required to process the claim.

Claims may require:

Proof of purchase or value
Tracking information
Photographs of the package and/or damage
A description of the contents
Any other supporting documentation requested by Blink

Blink may deny claims where the loss or damage results from circumstances excluded under these Terms or where required information is not provided.

10. Package Inspection and Handling

Customers authorize Blink to inspect, open, photograph, scan, weigh, measure, relabel, repackage, consolidate, or otherwise handle packages when reasonably necessary for shipping, customs, security, identification, documentation, or operational purposes.

Package contents may be reviewed to confirm shipment information, identify prohibited or restricted items, assist with customs documentation, or address damage or other shipment concerns.

11. Storage Policy

Packages must be collected within 10 days of arrival.

If a package is not collected within this period, a storage fee of JMD $500 per day will be charged for each additional day the package remains uncollected.

Customers are responsible for all applicable storage fees before a package can be released.

Blink reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding packages that remain unclaimed for an extended period, including disposal or sale where permitted by law and after applicable notice.

12. Cancellations and Refunds

Refund requests are subject to the circumstances of the shipment and the services already provided.

Once a shipment has been processed, fees may not be refundable where Blink has already incurred costs or completed services.

Refunds may be considered where there has been a proven error by Blink or where otherwise approved by Blink.

13. Privacy and Customer Information

Blink collects and uses customer information as reasonably necessary to provide shipping, delivery, customs, payment, customer support, security, and other operational services.

Customer information may be shared with shipping, transportation, customs, delivery, technology, payment, and other service providers where necessary to provide the requested services.

Information may also be disclosed to government authorities or other parties where required or permitted by law.

14. Electronic and Automated Processing

Customers acknowledge that shipment information may be electronically processed, scanned, recorded, categorized, or otherwise handled through systems used to manage shipments and provide Blink’s services.

This may include processing information such as package descriptions, tracking information, shipment values, weights, dimensions, labels, and customs-related information.

15. Customer Communications

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and active contact information.

Blink may communicate with customers by email, telephone, WhatsApp, text message, or other available communication methods regarding shipments, payments, customs, delivery, collection, claims, or other services.

Customers are responsible for monitoring communications related to their shipments.

16. Customer Indemnification

Customers agree to be responsible for losses, costs, claims, penalties, fines, or expenses resulting from inaccurate information, prohibited or restricted items, improper packaging, failure to provide required documentation, customs violations, or other actions or omissions by the customer.

17. Changes to These Terms

Blink Global Shipping reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service when necessary.

Updated Terms may be communicated through our website, email, social media, or other available customer communication channels.

Continued use of Blink’s services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
